On iOS, entering a music request triggers the display of a tab containing the song’s title, artist, duration, and play count. On Android, playback takes place in the background, while on iOS, the YouTube Music app opens automatically. For the web version, you’ll need to click on the map to access the YouTube Music website.
For now, the functionality doesn’t seem to be available in France yet, although logically it shouldn’t be long. Once implemented, all you need to do is ask Gemini to connect to YouTube Music or go directly to the chatbot settings, “Extensions” section. Google’s artificial intelligence will then be able to access your YouTube Music data, including saved playlists, history and liked songs.
