The release of Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system lifted the veil on computers without TPM 2.0 modules. Indeed, the minimum installation requirements of Windows 11 have frustrated many Windows 10 users who will never be able to upgrade to the new operating system.
Luckily the user (Bob Pony) from the social network X came to put an end to this Rubicon by offering a new solution. It is possible to install Windows 11 on an incompatible computer or one without TPM 2.0 bypassing known Microsoft requirements.
- Download Windows 11 ISO image from the official Microsoft website.
- Create a virtual drive by double-clicking the downloaded ISO image
- Open File Explorer, note the drive letter assigned to the virtual drive where the Windows 11 installation files are located.
- Open Command Prompt, CMD or Terminal as Administrator.
- In Terminal, change the directory to point to the virtual drive you created that contains the Windows 11 installation files. What do you do? Type the letter assigned to the virtual drive and press the “Enter” key on the keyboard.
- Type the following command “setup.exe /product server” to run Windows 11 installer with special setting and press “Enter”
You will then see on the screen that Windows Server is being installed, but this is just an illusion, it is obvious that Windows 11 will be installed. All you will have to do is follow the various instructions.
It should be noted that Microsoft announced the arrival of a new operating system (Windows 12).
