If you have watched the Netflix series Edgerunners, adapted from the video game Cyberpunk 2077you must remember the character David Martinez. The main character of the series, especially stands out for his fighting style based on the use of implants Sandevistan which allows him to slow down time around him to eliminate his opponents so quickly that they don’t even see him coming.
In Cyberpunk 2077, it is possible to play in the same way thanks to this same cybernetic implant. The goal will then be to slow down time before each fight by activating the implant, then eliminate your opponents in a row to extend the time you use Sandevistan and thus overwhelm each of your enemies without getting killed. Everything therefore depends on two things: the maximum time of using Sandevistan and your speed of action. However, since the Sandevistan is only a cybernetic implant and not attached to any type of weapon, you will have a choice of your style of approach. Below you will find all our tips for optimizing your Sandevistan build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.
Build Sandevistan 2.0: which attributes to prioritize?
In Cyberpunk 2077. The skill tree (called “perks”) is divided into five different branches called “attributes”. Unlike perks that can be canceled at will, attribute points must be spent carefully so as not to let your character down. Fortunately, it is possible to go up to a maximum of three of the five attribute branches (level 20), and their distribution is quite logical.
However you want to play the Sandevistan build, We advise you to allocate your points to the following attributeslisted in order of priority (if you plan to play stealthy, knife-throwing, or gun-wielding, increase your reflexes and composure at the same time):
- Technical capacity: 20 points
- Reflexes: 20 points
- Cold blood: 20 points
- Constitution: 8 points
- Intelligence: 3 points
Build Sandevistan 2.0: Which perks do you need to unlock first?
As you level up your attributes, you’ll also unlock the ability to activate perks, the equivalent of skills in Cyberpunk 2077. Depending on how you want to play, your priorities may change here. For a solid base around the Sandevistan implant, however, two trees should take priority: middle tree in the category “Technical ability” and middle tree in the category “Reflexes”. We refer you to the screens below for more details.
Thanks to the advantages of the middle tree in the category “Technical Ability”you should be able to increase yours quickly cyber capability in order to equip as much as possiblecybernetic implants possible, including known ones Sandevistan. Thanks to them you will also be able to extend the time of using this module and reduce its charging time so that you can slow down time as long and as often as possible.
Advantages of a medium category tree “Reflexes”as far as they are concerned, they will mostly serve you to use “To charge”AND dash which will allow you to easily reach your opponents and chain victims as quickly as possible. In addition, certain benefits of the tree will also allow you to do so take less damagea godsend for those moments when you won’t slow down time anymore.
As for other perks, it all depends on how you want to play. The Sandevistan build lends itself well to four different fighting styles:
- Mantis katana / blades
- Assault rifle/machine guns
- Handgun
- Knife throwing
Once you have selected your desired weapon, We advise you to complete the following perk trees:
Once you’ve unlocked all of these perks, you should have more than enough points to put anywhere you want. Regardless of your playstyle, we advise you to allocate at least two in the tree “Constitution” to unlock benefits “Pain Killer” AND “Endorpheus” so you can benefit from a small health boost when needed. Don’t hesitate to read the rest of the benefits to grab the ones you want, you really can’t go wrong.
Build Sandevistan 2.0: Which Weapon to Choose?
As we told you in the previous part, The Sandevistan build goes great with four different fighting styles. Once you’ve chosen one, we advise you to simply pick up the associated weapon you like best. You should loot enough weapons in the game to form your own opinion about it, and no one weapon is really better than another. However, iconic weapons are often very interesting due to their unique passive effectsso pay close attention to what you will get during your adventure. For example, these three katanas could be very useful if you decide to use blades for your Sandevistan build:
Build Sandevistan 2.0: Which Cybernetic Implants to Use?
Since the build revolves around a cybernetic implant, you will necessarily need to spend a lot of points on Technical capacity and in the corresponding advantages. Fact, you’ll have enough cyber capacity to equip a certain number of implants, so you might as well use that.
Of course, your priority will be to equip a good version of the famous Sandevistan module. As for the latter, there are three choices available to you depending on your funds, game progress and your cybernetic capacity:
- Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan: It is clearly the best module you can choose, but it is expensive, requires a lot of cyber capacity, and is only available at a high level. Grab it as soon as possible, but in the meantime go back to the next two.
- Militech “Falcon” Sandevistan: If you can’t fit the Apogee build into your build, you can always grab this one. It does the same thing a little less efficiently, but still completely relevant. Note that it is also only available from a certain level.
- Dynalar Sandevistan: Before you can choose between Apogee or Falcon, install Dynalar. This is a cheap and fairly fast option, and will allow you to use the time dilation as quickly as possible.
As for other cybernetic implants, you are relatively free in your choices (you adapt to your playstyle), but give priority to filling absolutely all implant sites. Actually, an advantage “Cyborg” which you had to take from the middle tree of the branch “Technical Ability” will give you a 15% bonus on the filling time of your implants provided all locations are occupied, which obviously includes yours Sandevistan. Of course, we recommend a few implants that you must pay special attention to:
- Newton’s modulus (Frontal cortex)
- Mantis blades (Hand – Change to Missile launchers if you prefer to play katana or any other weapon)
- Neofiber (Nerve system)
- Synaptic accelerator (Nerve system)
- restorative death (Blood system)
