In March, Apple Refurbished iPhone 13s listed again from him, through his renovation service, which is available on his official website. Until a few days ago, it was the only version available, but now the iPhone 14 is joining the game.
However, some consider Apple’s refurbished smartphones to be overpriced compared to the competition, sometimes more expensive than new devices in stores.
Costs
By visiting the dedicated page of Apple’s site, we find for example iPhone 14 Midnight Black 128 GB at a price of 739 euros. The latter is the cheapest of all the refurbished iPhone 14s sold by Apple. We can achieve by doubling the storage capacity 849 euros for iPhone 14 of 256 GB. These are currently the only versions available for the base iPhone 14. There are no other colors, and the iPhone 14 Plus model is also not offered for sale as a refurb.
As for the Pro model, we do not find the iPhone 14 Pro, but only the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This is also the range that offers the most variations, with many colors available, but also many storage capacity options.
The price of iPhone 14 Pro Max 128 GB is, for example, 1039 euroswhile 14 Pro Max 256 GB costs 1159 euros on the Apple website. When the storage capacity is further increased, the price increases to 1369 euros for the 512 GB versionAND 1579 euros for the 1 TB model. It is also good to note that the price does not change depending on the color, but only on the storage capacity of the selected iPhone. You can see availability here.
Too expensive ?
According to many netizens, the prices of Apple refurbished iPhones are too expensive and it is better to look elsewhere. The advantage of going through Apple is that it guarantees that the iPhone will be equipped with only original parts. Additionally, testimonials claim that Apple’s refurbished iPhones look like new, which may not be the case elsewhere.
It’s true that you can easily find cheaper refurbished iPhones elsewhere, particularly on Amazon, where iPhone 14 128 GB is offered for only 539 euros! There are several models available here.
