UNIQUE MEETING PLACE, BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL ACCELERATOR
VivaTech stands out as an event the most productive business with more than 400,000 business connections in the digital field alone and the enthusiasm of all players in the sector to generate commercial leads. This year, more than 13,500 startups also had the opportunity to establish commercial relations with companies from more than 25 sectors and meet more than 2,000 investors and investment funds such as Accel, KKR, Lightspeed, Sequoia Capital, Eurazeo or even GV (Google Ventures) during 3 professional days.
VIVA TECHNOLOGY CONFIRMS ITS INTERNATIONAL ATTRACTIVENESS
VivaTech has become the epicenter of meetings and discussions on technology and innovation on a global level. More than 120 countries were represented, with forty national pavilions including those of Canada, Taiwan, Brazil, the United Kingdom and Germany. Japan, the country of the year, was also able to present its technology ecosystem with the presence of a ministerial delegation and more than 40 startups. Africa was once again present with a zone dedicated to local talent and start-ups, the Africa Tech Lab. Continuing for the third consecutive year, the AfricaTech Awards, sponsored by Airtel and Cassava Technologie, shined a light on the most innovative startups in the Climate Tech, Health Tech, FinTech and Ecommerce sectors in Africa. This year’s winners include Schoolz for Climate Tech, Rology for Health Tech and Inclusive Solutions for FinTech & Ecommerce.
AI AND SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY AT THE HEART OF THE 2024 PROGRAM
VivaTech 2024 was the place where the latest, most concrete AI solutions were presented with almost 40% of exhibitors showing innovations on the subject, especially through a new space: AI Avenue, the bustling heart of the four-day event.
VivaTech’s increased commitment to responsible technology is materialized in particular with Impact Bridge, sponsored by EDF, a whole series dedicated to initiatives and innovations with a positive impact on building a more sustainable and inclusive future.
More than 400 debates were held with more than two-thirds of the debates international, and among them were inspiring figures such as John Kerry, Rachel Delacour (Sweep), Robin Li (Baidu), Arthur Mensch (Mistral AI), Yann LeCun (Meta ) or Dario Amodei (anthropic). From the first edition, VivaTech wanted to be exemplary in terms of environmental issues. His efforts were rewarded this year by obtaining the ISO 20-121 certificate. This certification is part of the structuring of the CSR policy started more than 2 years ago.
DIVERSITY IN VIVATECH’S DNA
As every year, women are in the spotlight: more than 40% of women spoke on the VivaTech stages. The Female Founder Challenge supported by Mazars, JCDecaux and Verizon honored for its 6th edition Albane Dersy, co-founder of inbolt, a robotics software company that develops real-time guidance using 3D vision and artificial intelligence. The 100 + 100 mentoring program brought together more than 100 young girls and 100 influential women in technology to create careers. Furthermore, many other initiatives have been renewed, such as Impact Builders, in partnership with Diversidays, a program that aims to accelerate the business impact of entrepreneurs who, due to their age, social conditions or background, do not have enough opportunities in the Tech ecosystem, i.e. the presence of Femtech France for the second year in a row which on the occasion of VivaTech launched its 2nd barometer of the Femtech industry promoting innovations for the benefit of women’s health.

BiPed AI: robotics software for the visually impaired that integrates obstacle detection, turn-by-turn GPS, and scene description with GPT to improve mobility and independence;
Everdian: an AI-powered real-time data analytics and dynamic display solution for predicting, detecting and overcoming crises;
Bioteos: a solution that addresses indoor air pollution through an air purifier that integrates biosimulants and microalgae into a 3D printed structure;
Dopavision: redefines therapeutic solutions for ophthalmic and neurological conditions thanks to a unique photobiomodulation method that targets the blind spot of the eye;
Tesla and Elon Musk’s Cybertruck made its first appearance in France at VivaTech, kicking off a tour of France and Europe;
Software République presented its “U1st Vision” concept, the first in mobile services focused on citizens and health.
MORE THAN 400 INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS
The world’s leading speakers talked about the current context and contemporary challenges, and they gave a special place to artificial intelligence and sustainable technology. The general public day had a special focus on games and esports.
