The Google Chrome internet browser for iOS apps has just received an update. It offers more choices in terms of interface customization, specifically, now you can modify the menu bar as you like.
How to do it?
To access the new options, you must first update Google Chrome through the App Store, if this has not already been done automatically. Once your browser is level, you need to click on the three dots in the lower right corner, then scroll down to finally select new “Customize Menu” button.
You’ll have access to tons of options that let you modify the app’s menu interface with options of your choice. It is possible to manage the carousel shortcuts at the top, where “Downloads” appears, but you can also change the list of actions at the bottom (Follow, Add to favorites, Translate, etc.):
As you can see in the screenshot above, you can delete all shortcuts, except “Settings” (“Settings” on the recording) and “Site Information” (“Location Information” on the recording). As for the different actions, you can change/delete them all if you want, without exception.
This latest version of Google Chrome for iPhone also adds a new unique widget. This is Password manager widgetwhich allows you to view and manage identifiers faster.
Chrome for iPhone borrows functionality from Arc Search
The new version of Chrome for iOS also adds a feature already present elsewhere. This is the automatic archiving of unused cards, which it already offers the Arc Search browser that uses artificial intelligence.
Google Chrome ranks third in the utilities category of the iPhone App Store. The app has been rated 4.5/5 by nearly 100,000 iOS users. The first place in the Utilities category is also occupied by France Identity, and second is the basic Google application.
