Since 2009, the La Montpellier Reine race has returned every year to participate in the fight against breast cancer. With almost 10,000 participants, it is an important event in the city of Montpellier. Collect, help, fight: this is the mission of Montpellier Reine. See you on Sunday, May 26, 2024!
A Montpellier Reine: a charity run
Particularly dynamic and active in the field of sports, the city of Montpellier has many race tracks to explore throughout the year. But not all races are the same and that of the Queen of Montpellier it’s proof!
Every year, this major event of the agenda of Montpellier return for a purpose: fight against breast cancer. Organized by volunteers, the Montpellier Reine gathers around 8,000 runners per edition to take part in a 4.5 km charity run in the heart of Montpellier. By participating in the Montpellier Reine, everyone gives their support to the women victims of this cancer, but not only. Inform the public and raise awareness constitutes another key aspect of this event. Thus, it is a real tide of pink jerseys that leave for a small race of a few km, but whose importance is much greater.

The Queen of Montpellier
In the program of the event:
Saturday, May 25, 2024
- 12 pm – 6 pm : Collection of bibs and t-shirts
Sunday, May 26, 2024
- 9 am: opening of the village
- 10:30 p.m.: official speech
- 10:45 a.m.: collective warm-up
- 11 am: start of the race
- 12:00: delivery of checks
Here, the goal is not to beat the world record: everyone has their own race and everyone has their own pace! As for the Corsicanthe race takes place, in the Montpellier Ecusson districtclose to the famous monuments and buildings of the city such as the Fabre museum Or Quorum.

- adult rate: €20
- students and minors: €15
- free for children under 7 years old.
Remember that you can still collect your bib on Saturday, June 18 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Jardins du Peyrou.
