The end seemed close, inevitable even when the Roland Garros draw offered him Alexander Zverev last Thursday (the match is on Monday afternoon at Centrala), but with Nadal you never have to say “no más”. On Saturday, at the press conference before the tournament, the Majorcan refused to confirm that this Roland-Garros would be his last. “There is a good chance that this will be my last Roland-Garros, but to tell you with 100% certainty that it will be the last, I will not do it. I feel better now than a month and a half ago, although it was not visible in Rome. I don’t want to close the door for the future.”
